Swords: Use, Quality, and Maintenance

All of our swords are intended solely for ceremonial or decorative use. They are not suitable for use as actual weapons and are not sharp.

Most of the swords on the site are made of (stainless) steel. If this is not the case, it will be noted, and in that instance, it is important to regularly apply a thin layer of oil to the material (carbon steel). Swords from the DENIX brand are made of the metal alloy Zamak (zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper).

The best cleaning solution for maintaining stainless steel and Zamak is simply soapy lukewarm water. Additional services we offer include laser engraving and custom sword fabrication based on your own design.

Sculptures and figurines: quality and restoration services

The sculptures and figurines on this site are made ofpolystoneunless otherwise noted. Polystone is a common name for a mixture of liquid resin (polyethylene) and natural minerals such as ground granite, marble, soapstone, etc. The addition of minerals adds weight and gives the sculptures their desired stone-like feel. The cast forms are then sanded, polished, and colored in several steps.

The figurines are intended for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to UV radiation and extreme temperature fluctuations can damage the material and/or the color. If they are used outdoors, we recommend applying a protective clear coat to prevent discoloration.

It is best not to clean polystone figurines with cleaning agents, as they contain chemicals that can damage the coloring.

I’m Tilly, the creative force behind EuroFantasyShop.com. This is our new name following the merger in 2025 of our former online stores, Troepje.nl and Zwaardenwinkel.nl.

Since 2001, our store has been located in Terneuzen (Zeeland), where you’re welcome to come browse through our selection of swords from many well-known TV series and movies, as well as statues and figurines ranging from elves to elephants, and much more. My health doesn’t always allow it anymore, but whenever possible, I’m not only active online but also in person at the store, because interacting with customers still brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction.

  • Sculpture Restoration Workshop

    Is a piece or a small part broken off? We can repair it, including more extensive damage to small and larger sculptures, and touch up the color.
